Lyrics:
You think you’ve got it
You think you’re something
You’ll never get it,
Don’t be thinking that it’s coming
Since the beginning all you’ve wanted was a way
To prove to others that you’re all the things you say
And if today you came and told me what I could have
Been if I followed in your footsteps
There’s no way
My self respect, something I wouldn’t lose for no one
Unlike yourself I would just rather not pretend
One broken shovel makes the digging hard
Down for the count your illness has you now
Tried to commit but as the years went by
You gave your life away, you said goodbye
You can’t go on like this
Won’t you face it
Face this
Time will tell
Mark my words
You will reap
What you sow
Its in the water
Its been forgotten
I scream the truth,
Don’t you be thinking that I’m sorry
A part of you knows that I’m right you feel ashamed
You’re just a liar and a fake
You’re just a trend
I don’t want to spread my word to me it means nothing
Your acceptance and your truth I piss away
Tied to the chair embrace your fate you had it coming
You’re a reflection of a hollow inner self
One broken shovel makes the digging hard
Down for the count your illness has you now
Tried to commit but as the years went by
You gave your life away, you said goodbye
You can’t go on like this
Won’t you face it
Face this
Time will tell
Mark my words
You will reap
What you sow
Class dismissed
Time will tell
Mark my words
You will reap

A solid debut from a promising band, Golden Head is one hell of a first statement. My favourite pick would be Morrigan, the track truly highlights everything Sol Ether has to offer. Deeply mystical work that resonates on a subconscious level, appealing to instincts and fears rather than betting on shock value. And those vocals - it’s pure primal rage

A great follow-up to their last album, Fate Follow No One truly hones their guitar tone, which has become practically impossible to confuse with another band. Looking forward to seeing Follow no One playing live with an orchestra, damn
